Home Channel aligns with Decorex SA
One of South Africa’s most popular lifestyle television channels, The Home Channel, confirms it will be partner with Decorex SA for the exhibitions taking place in Durban, Cape Town and Joburg this year.
Decorex SA, Africa’s largest décor, design and lifestyle exhibition and takes place in the three cities in March, April and August, respectively. The Home Channel – which delivers decor, design, home improvement and property television programs, mixing the best of local and international content – will use this opportunity to film unique content at the Decorex SA exhibitions.
Michelle Arnold, General Manager of Sales at The Home Channel says that the decision to partner with Decorex SA is because it is “the perfect fit”. “The synergy between the two brands offers viewers and consumers the very best in décor, design and lifestyle. Our viewers are the exact people that attend the Decorex SA exhibitions!”
She added that The Home Channel’s involvement at each of the three Decorex SA exhibitions will create awareness for the channel and this would hopefully result in “more eyeballs on screen”.
Arnold added that The Home Channel has found that there is an increasing consumer appetite for decor, design and lifestyle inspiration; “Our viewers are extremely house proud, their home is their castle and they take the time, effort and money to improve their lifestyles. They tune into The Home Channel for local and international trends and they love the ‘how to’ factor, how to decorate, how to DIY, how to cook, how to entertain. It’s all about you and your home.
Sian Steyn, Decorex SA Portfolio Manager says she is delighted to welcome The Home Channel as official media partner to Decorex SA.

With this year’s theme for Decorex SA exhibitions being Design Your Life, Steyn said the wide variety of exhibitors as well as the array of décor and lifestyle shows on Home Channel meant that South Africans will be spoilt for choice when it comes to selecting décor looks to suit their lifestyles.
