DECOREX SA TAKES TOP HONOURS AT ANNUAL EXHBITION INDUSTRY AWARDS

The Decorex SA Portfolio walked away at the Exhibition and Event Association of South Africa’s
(EXSA) annual awards last night (26th November), with two of the Best Trade and Consumer
Exhibition awards.

Decorex Cape Town won Best Trade & Consumer Award in the 6000m² and over category and 100% Design South Africa won Best Trade & Consumer Award in the under 6000m² category.

Decorex Cape Town, and the world renowned international design exhibition 100% Design
South Africa fall part of the impressive Decorex SA portfolio, and are widely acclaimed as
Africa’s premier exhibitions, and this year received particular praise for its overall layout and functionality, beautifully curated features and installations and an overall enjoyable visitor and exhibitor experience.

Sian Steyn, General Manager of the Decorex SA Portfolio, said “We are immensely proud to
have received two awards in the trade and consumer category, to be recognised in the
exhibition Industry is an honour with our team’s efforts to bring international standards to the
local market”

Sian said the relationship between Decorex SA & 100% Design South Africa team and its
exhibitors was key to the shows’ success. "We strive to refresh and innovate every year and we
encourage our exhibitors to do the same. It is this consistent drive and innovation that has
culminated in award winning exhibitions”

EXSA is a non-profit organisation representing venues, organisers, exhibition designers, stand
builders, service companies and associate organisations. EXSA, via collective representation,
provides a forum for all participants across the spectrum of the exhibition industry.
