KSA Gauteng Golf Day and 21st birthday celebration
The KSA in Gauteng held a very successful industry golf day at... This was followed by a dinner in celebration of the KSA's 21st birthday and a farewell to Leigh Miller the Gauteng KSA regional manager.
We had 128 players, a full field ! 175 people attended the Prize giving, the best turn out this year for a KSA Event. The MC for the evening was Justin Hobday. It was an honour to have Joel Stransky- play at the KSA golf day and special mention was given to him. Jane Hunt (KSA Regional Manager 1998 – 2008) was invited as a special guest to celebrate KSA turning 21.
The 2010 Golf Day had amazing prizes & a raffle where the KSA collected R2400 for the following:
• 6th Sense Steam dishwasher to the value of R7 700 Sponsored by Whirlpool SA
• Tops to the Value of R20 000 sponsored by Proquartz
• Cabinet design and Machine software to the value of R28 000 sponsored by Cabinet Vision
Other amazing prizes where the Weekend away sponsored by William Tell and 4 Jet-Chef Microwaves sponsored by Whirlpool SA
In 2008 The KSA Introduced the 10 year plus awards to give recognition to the members who have been members for 10 years or longer.

After the Golf day Prize giving Leigh Miller (KSA Gauteng Regional Manager 2008 to 2010) did a presentation listing highlights from as far back as possible , which ended with photo PowerPoint presentation of the past.
The KSA was founded by companies within the kitchen industry, with the purpose of protecting both the consumer and member.
The KSA has had many executive committees over the years, and many special people who have willingly contributed their time to give this association the Value and in turn would like to give them all the Recognition for their Enthusiasm and Hard work which has paid off!
Well done to all you long standing members.
The association is what it is today because of your support and involvement!!
