Building connections - the annual KSA Gauteng Industry Showcase 2024

In May, on a hot and beautiful JHB day, the annual KSA Gauteng Industry showcase was another triumphant and fun day out. The warm winter weather did not disappoint, and exhibitors and attendees were treated to stunning views with delicious food – and the absolute best product offerings in the South African kitchen industry.

On the big lawns of Riversands Farm village, sixteen of our supplier members showcased their products, old favourites, and brand-new advancements to 350 members of the industry including kitchen manufacturers and professional industry partners. This year the following KSA supplier members joined us: Union Tiles, Just Stone, Roco, Mactool, Sonae Arauco, Articad, PG Bison, Morrells, Boardmart, Vogue Doors, Grass, Max on Top, Upper Edge Products and Kwikot, Samsung, and Greenlam.

On the day, CPD points were on offer to the architects and interior designers that attended the talks on offer. With that, they also needed to complete and have their event passport stamped by each exhibiting member to qualify for the maximum one full CPD point on offer. This was an enormous success, allowing them and our suppliers to network, make contact and build the business relationships.

The CPD talks hosted by Sonae, Union Tiles, PG Bison, and a joined initiative between the KSA and the IID on the working relationship between the kitchen designer, architect, and interior designer. The KSA national manager Stephanie Forbes, joined by architect Jean Grove, and interior designer Hermien Klopper, hosted a panel discussion on cooperation and conflict avoidance amongst built environment players.
