KSA Gauteng hosts it AGM
The KSA Gauteng hosted their Annual AGM at Smeg in Bryanston on 21 August.
The AGM this year proved to be a very exciting event as the KSA introduced 4 new categories of Awards. The awards which were handed out included the following: Service Awards - These were given to all Kitchen Manufacturers and Stone/Surface Fabricators who did not have a dispute resulting in a site inspection during 2018. New Award – No site inspections for 5 years or more. These awards were given to all Kitchen Manufacturers who have not had a complaint leading to a site inspection for five or more years.
Supplier Awards - These were given to the top three suppliers for the best service given during the 2018 year as voted for by our Kitchen Manufacturers. Congratulations to Eclipse who received the Gold Award; Roco Furniture Fittings who received the Silver Award and Niemann SA together with Kitchencraft who received the Bronze Award.
20 Year Awards - Congratulations to Easylife Kitchens Faerie Glen, Easylife Kitchens Fourways, Franke, Optima Kitchens, PG Bison, Roco Furniture Fittings and Sonae Arauco who celebrated 20 years of membership with the Association.
New Award – Member Participation Award. These were awarded to members who have participated fully in all KSA activities and opportunities and also made use of the KSA facilities that are made available to them. Congratulations to Sariga Designer Kitchens, Cupboard Value Pretoria, Easylife Kitchens Management, PG Bison, Grass Furniture Fittings and Sonae Arauco.
New Award – Meritorious Service Award. These were awarded to an individual or company that has gone above and beyond in their service to the KSA and the greater KSA Community. A huge congratulations to Sean King from ELK Fourways who has gone the extra mile in assisting with consumer complaints and to Kayreed/ Davidsons Boards who helped with the manufacturing, transport and build-up of the KSA Decorex stand.
New Award – Industry Partner Award. These were awarded to Decorex, IID, Designing Ways, SAFI and Interior Placements. Working with these industry partner added huge value to the Association and its members.
